TBR Thursday {2}

Kimberly @ Kimberlyfaye Reads started a new weekly feature that I loved the sound of, and have decided to join in the fun! Make sure you go check out her awesome blog.

The purpose of the feature is to spotlight a title from your shelf or eReader to see what others think about it. Have you read it? Should I read it or put it back on the shelf? It’s a way to dust off those older books that have been sitting on our TBR and decide if they’re worth reading or just need removed from the list!

About the book:

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has never been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

So, I admit that I tried this book a few years ago, and it didn’t work for me at the time. I am a very moody reader and it probably wasn’t the right book at the right time for me. With the movie coming out and how loved this book is by so many readers, I feel like I need to give it another try.

Have you read this book? What did you think?

    I’ve had this book for so long and have continued to put it off because I was scared of the emotion it would bring out. After seeing the movie trailer, I wasn’t as affected as I thought I would be but still know I’ll get a case of the feels. The trailer did make me want to read it sooner rather than later, though.

    You haven’t read Me Before You? You definitely should, Brandie! I loved this book, though it’s not my favorite by Jojo Moyes.
