November 9 is yet another breathtaking novel by Colleen Hoover that’s full of blushing, gushing, and heartache. I loved every page and breathed in every beautiful word.”

ABOUT NOVEMBER NINE

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day of her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

Okay, so I have to confess that I’ve never read any of Colleen Hoover’s books (GAH!) but this one sounds REALLY intriguing!! I’ve seen so much excitement around it, so I may need to try it out, Brandie! Thanks so much for sharing this; adding to my list and I can’t wait to hear more!

    • Brandie says:

I definitely recommend this one as your first CoHo read! I don’t push a lot of authors – but I will recommend Hoover’s books to everyone any chance I get. Lol 😉

  2. laurelrainsnow says:

I’ve only read one book by the author, Ugly Love, but I was very impressed. This one has been bookmarked on Amazon…and today I downloaded it! Yay!

Thanks for sharing, Brandie…and I wonder why they didn’t release it on November 9th? LOL

    • Brandie says:

Yay – I can’t wait to see what you think!!
Colleen said it’s the publishers that wouldn’t let her release it on the 9th. They only release new books on Tuesdays. So ridiculous!

  3. The Bibliophile Babe says:

Just downloaded this one! I have one book to finish before I can dive in (and the only reason I haven’t put that book down is because I love the author even more than CoHo). I have a feeling this’ll be my favorite of hers

  4. Yvo says:

I normally don’t really do romance, but I like the way Colleen Hoover writes and everybody seems to think this is her new best book. I will probably end up getting a copy of this one…

  5. Michelle says:

So, if I am not a huge fan of chick lit, will I like Hoover? You love her so much that I want to give her a chance, but at the same rate, I tend to be very harsh on chick lit novels. It takes a lot to impress me or even keep my interest.

    • Brandie says:

I definitely feel like her stuff is more Contemporary Romance than Chick Lit. Her books have more depth and deal with bigger issues than you get in a Chick Lit novel. What I love most about her books is that every story is so unique. If you don’t care for swoony romances, I don’t know that you’d like a CoHo book. I think if you were to try any of them, November 9 or Hopeless would be two good choices because they have a bit of a suspense element in both of them. And Hopeless is borderline YA. Both keep you guessing.
I want to say I think you’d like her writing, but I don’t want you to be disappointed, either! The pressure!
