{Mini Review} Ride Steady

Goodreads / Amazon

About the book

The ride of her life . . .
Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy—until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa’s pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.

Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he’s the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa’s acting, it’s clear she’s falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker’s secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa—or ride away forever . . .

My Thoughts

Bottom line, this was a case of the right book at the right time. I am not a huge follower of KA, but have enjoyed a few of her other MC books in the past. Knowing that, and being in the right mood for her unique writing style, I picked up this book last week, and I’m glad I did. I couldn’t tell you the last time I finished a book over 450 pages, but I managed to fly through this one, and really loved every minute.

Nice that this was just what you needed, sounds good and I’ll keep it in mind. I don’t mind an author having a particular style but I have as yet to sample her and it will be The Gamble as that is what I have on my Kindle.

I am so glad you loved it. You know she’s a favorite of mine… it’s an obsession! I was thrilled when I found her because she had so many books and series for me to read. I hope I never catch up, lol!

Ohhh, 5 stars? That’s great time spent with that many pages. Have you read her other books, yet? I haven’t read the Colorado Mtn series but have some of them, along with a few of her other series. I’ve read several of her books, but really want to tackle Colorado Mtn.
