It’s Monday! What are you Reading?

This is a weekly meme now hosted by Kathryn @ Book Date. If you aren’t already, I encourage you to join in on the fun!

After another week of fighting sickness in my house, I wasn’t able to read all that much. Thankfully now the sickness is gone (KNOCK ON WOOD), and life is returning to normal!

I got the random urge to start this book last week, and I am loving it! KA’s writing style is very unique, and I have to be in the right mood to read one of her books. I had high hopes of finishing it last night, but it’s really long, and I just couldn’t get it done.

With my moods, I rarely plan ahead. I have a few in mind, but that will likely change by the time I finish this book.

What are you reading this week?

Glad the sickness is gone. Fingers crossed it won’t come back anymore! I’ve been sick all last week as well and it totally sucked 😦 Finally feeling better and looking forward to decorating for the holidays and reading loads of books. I’ve been in a bit of a reading rut lately, so I joined two readalongs – one is to re-read all of the Harry Potter books from now until January and the other one is read Emma in December. I’m hoping re-reading HP will get me in the mood to read more. And I’ve always wanted to read more Austen – I’ve only read P&P.

Hope you have a great week!!

I’m sorry you were sick too, Nadia! Glad you’re on the mend! Reading slumps are so hard – I hate when they happen. I hope the HP re-reading helps you overcome the slump. Enjoy your week!

I read the first Chaos book; it was pretty good. I’ve delved into a historical romance by a new, favorite author after finishing an audiobook, a supernatural, a historical mystery, and a fractured fairy tale.

I am a planner so I always know what I am going to read next, just occasionally I change it or go for random! I think I have read one KA but I do have one on my Kindle that I intend to read hopefully before the year ends. Keep getting well.

I haven’t read KA in so long, and I would love to read this series but just can’t find the time. *sigh* Same old same old. Oh, and I’m a card carrying member of Mood Readers Anonymous, myself. I change my mind faster than the pages turn.
