W… W… W… Wednesday, hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds is a weekly meme showcasing what you just finished reading, what you are currently reading, and what you plan to start reading next.

what did you recently finish reading

I am a giant slacker and haven’t finished a book in over a week. Why can’t I just read all day?!

what are you currently reading

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

I am really enjoying this one. It was a slow start for me, mostly because I just haven’t had the time to read. I am over halfway now and really loving the story. I can understand why this author is loved by so many.

what will you read next

23390022The Life Intended by Kristin Harmel

In this richly told story where Sliding Doors meets P.S. I Love You, Kristin Harmel weaves a heart-wrenching tale that asks: what does it take to move forward in life without forgetting the past?

After her husband’s sudden death over ten years ago, Kate Waithman never expected to be lucky enough to find another love of her life. But now she’s planning her second walk down the aisle to a perfectly nice man. So why isn’t she more excited?

At first, Kate blames her lack of sleep on stress. But when she starts seeing Patrick, her late husband, in her dreams, she begins to wonder if she’s really ready to move on. Is Patrick trying to tell her something? Attempting to navigate between dreams and reality, Kate must uncover her husband’s hidden message. Her quest leads her to a sign language class and into the New York City foster system, where she finds rewards greater than she could have imagined.

After seeing a review on Aesta’s Book Blog, I have been dying to pick this one up. I really hope I’m still in the mood for it once I finish my current read.

*Subject to change due to the fact I’m an extremely moody reader!

I know how you feel! This past week I was a bit of a slacker too! It took a while to get into the book I was reading and I kept finding other things to do…like watch The Gilmore Girls! 😉 Love that show!

A Court of Thorns and Roses looks great! Thanks for introducing it to me!

  2. Kathy says:

I have both those on my TBR list. I’ll wait until I hear your thoughts on The Life Intended. I have it, but I haven’t been in the mood for it, yet.

  3. Jillian says:

Ooohh The Life Intended sounds like a good one. I might have to consider that if I want something like that. I really liked PS I Love You (both the book and movie) so it sounds perfect.
